Corporate and Work Parties
I offer packages for workshops to fit any team. I build fun, interactive activities great for a wide range of folks. Craft Cove offers a number of different molds and projects to choose from. If you have a larger group, I can bring an additional facilitator at no extra cost :) We can either schedule your party at the Cowichan Community Workshop, or I can come to you (project depending) as long as you have a few tables we can use overnight while creations dry/cure. I’ve offered private classes for one up to a class of forty people, and everything in between.
Woodworking Classes
Currently, I teach woodworking classes out of the Cowichan Community Workshop Co Op at the Hub. There are scheduled classes every week or so, but I can also create private or small group classes to tailor your needs. Depending on the class and tools required, the shop can facilitate 4-8 students, class depending. We regularly offer beginners woodworking 101 and 102, resin, and laser classes for students to choose from. Each class utilizes different tools while students make neat projects to take home.
Events
I often like to attend or share local arts events and markets because I also like to go to them! It’s a great place to meet like-minded makers while supporting the community I create in. If the “Upcoming” section below is empty, that means I am not planning on being in an event any time soon. There’s always something happening (maybe not an event, but something) and the best way to stay up-to-date is to follow Craft Cove Studio on socials—links at the bottom of the page or on Craft Cove’s LinkTree 👇

Salt Spring Pride Parade
The Salt Spring Pride Festival is an opportunity for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and their allies from the local and surrounding areas to come together and celebrate and encourage diversity and inclusivity that is so alive in queer culture. This festival is a safe space for people to show up as their full authentic expression to share in art offerings and to build a collective culture to facilitate belonging, support, and celebration.
This four-day extravaganza, housed at the Salt Spring Island Farmers’ Institute, will feature a rich tapestry of events, including the Pride Dance featuring headlining act Queer As Funk supported by a variety of local musicians, Djs and performers on the stage every evening. It also features Pop-Up Open Mics, Workshops, and Art Installations offered by attendees for attendees to create a plethora of community expressions and passions to share and create culture together. Along with DAISSI led activities, community discussions, and opening and closing ceremonies. Participants will have the opportunity to apply to Volunteer, offer Workshops, be a Performer, bring an Art Installation, or be a Vendor.
We also organize a Parade through the townsite of Ganges engaging anyone on the island who wishes to participate and witness Queer joy and Pride - complete with keynote speakers and performances at the end site.
The festival site is extensive and includes a Dance Hall, Family Zone, Outdoor Festival Stage, Vendor Village, Workshop Domes, Beverage Patio, covered booths, seniors and elders shaded rest area, and lots of space for camping in the Pride Camping Village where festival goers can get to know their queer neighbours and enjoy the family-of-choice experience.
