This salvaged maple charcuterie board comes with quite the story! Our wood supplier was driving through Chilliwack, BC, and saw a farmer burning a large pile of wood. Even from the road, Eric saw how incredible the grain looked on a bigleaf maple tree. He pulled over right then and there and saved the tree and many pieces from the burn pile, including the wood that is in this board! You can see the burnt edges in the wood still - what a great story for your guests to digest as they snack on olives and crackers.

All resin boards are made with food-safe, non-VOC, anti-yellowing, 81 SD hardness, Resinate Ultracast resin. Live edge boards are sealed with resin to protect the integrity of the bark.

The edges are rounded for style and comfort and the board is coated with multiple layers of Osmo top oil to ensure it goes as hard as that block of parmesan cheese.
